1. Isolate the equipment system and drain the water inside the heat exchanger.


2. Use high pressure water to clean the silt, algae and other impurities in the pipeline, and then close the system.


3. Install a ball valve (no less than 1 inch =2.54 cm) between the isolation valve and the exchanger. Install both water inlet and return ports.


4. Connect the conveying pump and connecting pipe, so that the cleaning agent is pumped in from the bottom of the heat exchanger and out from the top.


5. Start pumping the desired Fostech cleaner into the condenser (the ratio can be adjusted according to the situation).


6. Repeat the cycle to the recommended cleaning time. With the progress of the cycle and the dissolution of sediment, the gas produced during the reaction will increase, and the excess air should be discharged at any time through the vent valve. With the discharge of air, the space in the heat exchanger will increase, can add appropriate water, do not start to inject a lot of water, may cause the overflow of water.


7. In the cycle, the effectiveness of the cleaning agent should be checked regularly, which can be measured by PH test paper. The cleaner remains effective if the solution is maintained at PH 2‐3. If the PH of the cleaner reaches 5‐6, an appropriate amount of Fosetek cleaner should be added. The PH of the final solution remained unchanged at 2‐3 for 30 minutes, demonstrating the cleaning effect. Note: The Fostech cleaner can be recycled and reused. The discharge will cause waste.


8. After reaching the cleaning time, recycle the cleaning solution. Rinse the exchanger with clean water repeatedly until it is clean and neutral. Use PH test paper to measure PH 6~7.


9. It can be started up after cleaning. Can also suppress the test, see whether there is leakage phenomenon. If there is leakage, you can use Meijiahua polymer composite material for repair and protection, and can greatly extend the service life of the equipment.


10. After the equipment is stable, record the current medium overflow rate, working pressure, heat transfer efficiency and other data.


11. By comparing the changes of the values before and after cleaning, we can calculate the cost of electricity, coal and other production costs saved by the enterprise per hour as well as the improved working efficiency, which is the value compensation for the application of the technology of Forstek.


12. The same operation method can also be used for plate and frame type heat exchanger cleaning.


13. If the enterprise needs equipment for passivation prefilm treatment, it can follow the following process: pump the passivation prefilm agent into the equipment according to the recommended dilution ratio (at the same time, hang the test film in the circulation tank); Cycle and soak according to recommended time; Detection of prefilm effect (red dot method or blue dot method); Discharge; Rinse with water until neutral (PH 6~7 with PH test paper).


14. After the passivation prefilm is finished, it is best to use ventilation equipment such as fan to dry the system, which can ensure and improve the passivation prefilm effect.
